Trump Is at It Again

February 27, 2025 Trump is at it again.  He announced yesterday he wanted to offer U.S. visas to foreigners who are willing to invest $5 million in the U.S and then provide them a path to citizenship. I think this is wrong on a couple of levels.  First, we have a process in place, and it should be followed by everyone.   For a lot of nefarious people in the world, $5 million is not much money and this could be inviting a large number of people from other countries access to the benefits of being a citizen that could be abused.   Another problem is the appearance that the ri ch can buy their access with Trump and shows his favor can be bought. Trump and his administration need to be more deliberate.  They have already put themselves into the position of needing to rehire into discontinued positions and these are not political areas of involvement.  I want to see a logical approach to all the changes so it will be easy to track the changes made an...

Los Angeles- Much Needed Help, Much Needed Supervision

February 24, 2025- Monday California governor Gavin Newsome has asked for $40 billion from the federal government to help rebuild after the wildfires that leveled areas of Los Angeles. I think the federal government should provide the money for California .   There should also be a federal “policeman” assigned to the project to make sure the money goes to rebuilding infrastructure, homes, and businesses. This “policeman” needs to make sure none of the money goes to any of California’s stupid ecological projects or any of the stupid liberal causes they like to foster out there .  The federal money also needs to go to restore the r eservoirs they messed up in the Los Angeles area and restore the basics of the L.A. Fire Department that the mayor and previous fire chief messed up.   T here is a huge need in the Los Angeles area but the leadership in California cannot be trusted to properly handle that much money.   They’re too irresponsible.

Philly Wins!

February 10, 2025- Monday I wanted the Kansas City Chiefs to win.  The Philadelphia Eagles really didn't care what I wanted.  Philly made quick work of the Chiefs yesterday, 40-22, and the game was not as close as the score.  The game was dictated by the Eagle's defensive line that did not give Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes time to do anything.  Six sacks, two interceptions, one for a touchdown, showed the Chiefs offensive line was totally over matched in this Super Bowl.  The Eagle's offense was very good and followed in the footsteps of their defense.   Philly is the best team in professional football and do not show any signs of getting weaker next year.  Jalen Hurts was named the game's most valuable player, but the Eagle defensive line should have been given the award.  On to the 2025- 2026 season and the Eagles can go ahead and put two games in the win column since they play the Dallas Cowboys twice each year.

The Luka Doncic Trade- Utter Incompentence

February 4, 2025- Tuesday Around midnight on February 2nd, the Dallas Mavericks traded Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers, a day that will live in infamy.  That's a little dramatic but this trad shook more than just the sports world.  It actually made the NBC Nightly News.  Why? Doncic has always been considered a generational player.  That is what they called LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, and Shohei Ohtani.  Doncic had the statistics showing he was that kind of player.  That being said, the Mavericks did not want him.  After six years, adios amigo. Nico Harrison is the General Manager of the Dallas Mavericks and the one who has said this trade was his decision.  He said defense wins championships and he saw an opportunity to trade Doncic for a better defensive player, Anthony Davis. Davis is a better defensive player, but he is no generational player.  Davis is an overall much lesser player than Don...
