Living With Caution

Question   of the Day : Red lights and green lights tell us to stop and go. The art of living is in the yellow light. Where we have Choice. Will you put the pedal to the metal or slow down to stop?   Yellow lights are not indicative of the art of living. That’s foolish and an error in thinking. Yellow lights are caution lights indicating change is taking place or danger is near. If someone is going to view that yellow light as where the art of life is, they will get burned and they will get hurt.     T here are people who do take this view and per petually live their life in the yellow caution zone and live their lives in strife and turmoil. Yes, they have a choice, and they did not choose wisely. I know I spend a lot of time theoretically looking for yellow lights. As a manager, I looked for areas of possible problems so I could eliminate enough of those situations before they had a chance to become problems. Principled Living, Breaking Rules

June 4, 2025- Wednesday   Question of the Day: What station are you tuned into? Find your frequency. Sometimes we find our frequency by holding on to a moral bottom line in the midst of chaos. Sometimes we find it by breaking the rules and running the red light to get home.   Over the years, I have worked to live a principled life.  I have worked to live on Biblical principle s a nd let that be the basis for how I live my life.  That certainly does not mean I have been an ywhere close to perfect, and I have had my share of bad behavior and bad decisions usually because I didn’t control my emotions well in those situations.   There is also the matter of being hypocritical in situations. I have worked to minimize those situations in my life but I’m not stupid and I know I need to be more sensitive about that.
