Antisemitism In The United States

A very interesting thing happened today in the United States. Several chapters of the Black Lives Matter organization publicly came out in support of Hamas in the war between Hamas and Israel. The Black Lives Matter organization states they are supporting Hamas because of the Israeli oppression of Hamas, and Hamas has the right to attack Israel.

 

For me, this is the highest level of hypocrisy that may have ever happened. Black Lives Matter came into existence following the mistreatment and subsequent death of a black man in Minnesota and it became a national movement. We have since seen how much money the organization has been given and how thousands of those dollars were mismanaged. The organization is now condoning the actions of Hamas.

 

Black Lives Matter condones the annihilation of hundreds of Israelis and a few other nationalities while at a music festival. Black Lives Matter condones the attack with automatic weapons of people quietly living in their houses and killing them. Black Lives Matter condones the targeting of people in cars with automatic weapons and killing them without provocation. Black Lives Matter condones the murder of over forty babies, some being beheaded. Black Lives Matter condones and promotes the destruction of Israel and takeover of the country by Hamas. 


If we look back into history, Israel negotiated with the Palestinians to allow them to live in Gaza. I thought at the time it was a big mistake to allow Palestinians to have this block of land attached to Israel because the stated goal of Hamas is the termination of Israel. There has only been turmoil and strife since Israel gave up the land. The hatred on the part of Hamas and many Palestinians is so deep against Israel, they can’t see straight. Now Black Lives Matter is supporting this hatred.

 

In the United States, we have the freedom to speak our opinion in most places. We have the right to say outrageous things and not be held accountable. The fact is Black Lives Matter is supporting the hatred and terrorist activity of Hamas against Israel, the same kind of hatred that gave the organization their birth. How hypocritical.

Dying in Chicago Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

September 6, 2025- Saturday I haven’t had much to say lately about the news and that's probably good. The constant news cycle has worn me out. I still listen to the news so I will know what is happening, but I have cut out much of the news because of all the negativity that gets repeated several times per hour. We now have word that seven people were killed in Chicago over the Labor Day weekend. Over thirty people were shot or injured in the shootings. The weekly shootings and killing in Chicago, Illinois has been constant for the last several years. It is debatable as to who all is doing the shooting, but the fact is, the shooting continues on a weekly basis in Chicago and nothing the political and law enforcement leaders do in Chicago changes anything. September 2025  Topic of the Day- Life. Like Architecture, is a ver. If designed well, it works. It’s beautiful, and it needs no directions. It needs maintenance. How does one effectively maintain well in life? Some people are very goal oriented and seem to be obsessed with self-improvement. I think a lot of maintaining our lives is actually improving ourselves as we go through life. Maintenance in life is improving and moving forward, mostly through education.   One concept I was not taught in school is the concept of lifelong learning.
