How Do You Defy Aging?

December 3, 2023- Sunday

There is so much people do in this age designed to push back aging. I saw an actress on television this morning who I would not have recognized if I had not been told who it was. The actress had undergone such dramatic plastic surgery to appear younger than she is that you could not recognize who she was. She was formerly a very pretty woman. Now, she looks like an actress who has had very bad plastic surgery.

The vitamin and supplement businesses are worth billions of dollars because of people trying to find just the right mix of substances to keep their body in the best working condition. Then we have those who adopt the lifestyle of excessive exercise.

You don’t hear many people advocating moderation in all things and that includes moderation in personal relationships.

We live in a society that thrives on excess. It glorifies outrageous acts and thoughts. The media loves to promote this type of activity because others are so interested in the outrageous. Moderation does not attract attention. It will prolong your life.

Moderation in exercise. Fostering positive friendships. Moderation in good food. Moderation in vitamins and supplements. Spending time with people and also spending time away from people so we can think about where we are in our lives and how we can foster our productivity in life and foster our relationships. Are we working to help other people?

I’m learning how valuable moderation is and how it should influence our lives. Run from the outrageous and evaluate the impact of our interest on our lives. I’m consuming much less new than I have in the immediate past because of the tension it was creating in me. Oh, another thing that is not really popular.

We need to practice moderation so we can be good at it.
