Felon Former President Donald J. Trump

Former President Donald Trump’s trial for falsifying financial records and money paid to a porn star to keep her quiet about an alleged affair if finished.  There were thirty-four counts against him, and he was found guilty of all counts.  Now what? 

Strangely enough, Donald Trump can continue to campaign to be President of the United States.  He can actually still vote for himself in Floriday based on how Florida law is written.  Trump has vowed to continue to campaign heavily to win the November election.  He will definitely be traveling circles around Joe Biden during the summer and fall.  Trump will not be accused of not working hard to win the election. 

There are many people who still believe in Donald Trump.  His campaign raised $34 million yesterday after the verdict was rendered.  There are still a huge number of people convinced Donald Trump is the greatest president ever and should be allowed to president again.  There will be enormous crowds at his rallies, and he will continue to see fervent support. 

Trump’s sentencing will be on July 11, 2024.  That day, Judge Merchan will be deciding the sentence for Trump’s conviction.  Every talking head in the country is speculating on what the penalty will be.  This is a conviction for a non-violent crime.  It is a conviction on a charge that is normally a misdemeanor but was changed for the Trump case.  Trump has never been found guilty of any other crime.  Odds are very high Judge Merchan will hand down a penalty of probation of some sort.  That is if Judge Merchan is given a chance to render a penalty. 

The Donald Trump legal team will be quickly seeking an appeal of the verdict and there are some legal eagles who feel the appeal will happen and will be upheld and a penalty will never see the light of day.  These same legal minds did not see Trump being convicted in the first place.  

The real verdict will be in November when the nation goes back to the polls to elect the next president.  Joe Biden won by over 7 million votes in 2020.  Since November 2020, we have seen record inflation hit the United States due to a trillion-dollar spending bill passed by Democrats for some infrastructure needs and many Democratic pet projects.  We’ve seen the reality of the Russian hoax reported in the last election was a rumor started by the Hillary Clinton organization. We’ve seen wavering support for Israel from Joe Biden.  We’ve seen inflation sustained through Joe Biden’s attempt to buy votes by forgiving college loan debts.  We’ve also watched several million illegal aliens stream into the United States unchecked and now many local Democrats are moving to allow these illegal aliens to vote in their districts and states.  This was the goal all along.  Allow enough illegal aliens into the nation, assuming they would vote Democratically, so they can maintain control of the country.  Other people, not including Donald Trump, are being allowed to steal and commit crimes without facing arrest or trials.   

In November, the world as we know it in America will change.  We will either have a new president or we will have a continuation of the existing policies that have weakened America.  We will possibly be finished with Donald Trump and his arrogant approach to life. We will possibly continue to stumble along as a nation as we are at this point with values that are moving targets and an economy that is taking money out of everyday American’s hands. We shall see.
