President Kamala Harris

 June 27, 2024-

There is a presidential debate tonight. President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump will be involved in a very structured debate so voters will be able to hear directly from each candidate and know what those two men think is best for the United States. There is a lot at stake in the upcoming election but there is one key thing that is being discussed but not in its entirety.

Both presidential candidates are old. Biden is 80 years old. Trump is 76 years old. Biden is constantly being watched for his next senior moment. Trump has shown he doesn’t like to be scripted so there’s a lot to watch between the two old guys. Here is one thing that is very important in this election, more so than any past election. Who are the vice-presidential candidates?

We know Vice-President Kamala Harris will be on the ballot. Of all the past vice-presidents, Harris is the one most likely to see herself elevated to President of the United States because the person she is serving with has a good chance of not being able to complete his term of office. That would make Kamala Harris the first female President of the United States.

We know what we are getting in the two primary candidates for president. We also do know what we will be getting if Kamala Harris advances to the presidency. We will see decidedly liberal policies and appointments. There will be very little if any moderately oriented policies or individuals. We will see increased taxation on business and high-income individuals and the rate of inflation will continue to rise. We will see a strong abortion message. We could very likely see Supreme Court justice nominations who will be looking to legislate from the bench rather than follow direction provided in the Constitution. We will see a strong push to provide amnesty to all the illegal “immigrants” who have invaded our country during Joe Biden’s term in office and a possible move to give those illegal residents the right to vote.

We are actually seeing three people run for President of the United States. When casting our votes, we need to know we are voting for vice-president more than we’ve ever voted for a vice-president before. The impact could be tremendous. It could continue the overall society problems we have seen over the past three years. We need to be very careful.
