The Dallas Cowboys laid another egg yesterday.  They lost to the Baltimore Ravens, 28-25, and the game was not that close.   The score was 28-6 at the end of the third quarter when the Ravens put their game on cruise control.  The Cow boys made a couple of key plays in the fourth quarter against the now uninspired Baltim or e team and were able to tighten the score.  That is where this team now has a problem.   The Cowboys think their fourth quarter comeback is indicative of how they can play.  The Ravens no longer cared about the game and were playing to not get hurt.  Complicate this mindset of the Cowboys when they play the New York Giants this week, one of the worst teams in the NFL.  Assuming the Cowboys do win the game, they will carry this deceptive opinion of themselves into the next game.   Jerry Jones, the general manager of the Cowboys, has a team of back-up players, playing like back-up players.  Since the general ma...

September 18, 2024- Wednesday   Over the weekend, there was another person who thought it would be a good idea to shoot Donald trump.  The Secret Service intervened and actually caught the person who fired a few shots in Trump’s direction.  I’m sure they are going to find this man to be unstable at best and dealing with certain levels of psychoses.  What’s next?     Hatred runs deep in the United States today.  Many believe the whole idea if you don’t agree with how I believe, then you are wrong, and I hate you and will do whatever I can to silence you .  That is how Adolph Hitler operated.   My way or the highway.  If someone takes that approach in our society and decides to grab a gun today, then lives are at risk. September 16, 2024- Monday Let the Monday Morning quarterbacking begin.  The Dallas Cowboys fell to the New Orleans Saints yesterday, 44-19 and the game really was not that close.  The Saints offense was not slowed down much by the Cowboys defense.  The Cowboys' defense was the talk of the town all week after a dominating performance against Cleveland but had no answers for the Saints offense.  The Saints ran at will and scored touchdowns on their first six possessions.  The Saints need to be credited with an outstanding game plan both offensively and defensively.  The saints players need to be congratulated for spotless execution.  What is wrong with the Dallas Cowboys?   ESSAY- Last night we witnessed the first Presidential nominee debate.  The debate was moderated by David Muir and Linsey Davis of ABC news.  I’ll get to that.  The bottom line is this; Kamala Harris had a very good night debating Donald Trump.  No wor d salads like she is famous for delivering.  She delivered her practiced lines very well and she baited Donald Trump into railing against topics that had long since be debated.  No one in their right mind would think anything other than Harris performed well.  Trump did not.     Kamala Harris is not that good of an actress.  Her planned and executed facial expressions looked practiced.   Her planned speeches on specific topics were practiced well and delivered well.  Harris’ preparation for the debated definitely exceeded Trump ’s efforts.  What did Kamala say?   We’re not sure yet.  There were many generalities and a firm commitment to abortion.  She a...

T oday is September 11 th and this morning many across this country are memorializing the day many Americans were killed by terrorist.  The hijacking of four airliners and flying those airliners into the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington, D. C., and into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.  Several thousand innocent Americans died in this massive terrorist assault in American cities.   The thing we cannot forget over 20 years later is we are still vulnerable to terrorist who hate America, and they hate Amerca on a spiritual level.  American s do not fully realize the visceral level the terrorists live with every day of their lives.  Americans need to stay permanently on guard to preven t anything like this level of destruction and these types of attacks from happening again.  This should also include closing our borders to anyone wanting to immigrate to this country until they are fully vetted.  It will be a sl...

September 8, 2024- Sunday It is the first Sunday of the National Football League season, and I am homing in on the Dallas Cowboys.  Just to cut to the chase, I think the Cowboys will win nine or ten games this year and then find a way to l ose in the playoffs.     Jerry Jones started the day by giving quarterback Dak Prescott a four year, 240-million-dollar contract.  Easy math makes that 60 million dollars a year for a quarterback who only has two playoff wins over eigh t years .  When a person is being paid more money than anyone in pro football, two playoff wins is not going to cut it.  A conference championship game is the minimum expectation. Anything short of that makes these season a failure.   The Cowboys must find a way to avoid key injuries because the team has no depth.  The Cowboys also must block out the constant distraction of the owner and general manager.  This is Season 29 since the Cowboys have been in the Super B...
