A Divided Country

We all have beliefs we hold dear, and we work to defend those beliefs when those beliefs are being challenged.  For many, we begin to see we are in the minority in some of our beliefs. This is where the Democratic Party is today. 

The Democratic leaders are blaming everything but their beliefs on why Kamala Harris lost this presidential election.  If people did not vote for Kamala Harris because she is half-black, she would not have received 68 million votes.  If people did not vote for Harris because she is a woman, she would not have received 68 million votes.  Harris lost because of her beliefs. 

Donald Trump won this election by just under 5 million votes.  Out of 140.5 million votes cast, there was a 4% difference in the popular vote. We are still a divided country.  Many agree with Harris.  They have no problem aborting fully developed babies simply for convenience. They believe the government should set laws aside to allow people in the country illegally.  They believe the government should not care if people steal up to $800.00 worth of goods.  They believe the government should be allowed to force changes such as electric vehicles on people when people don’t want them. 

Many of us disagree with Harris and the Democrats.  The next two years will determine a lot.  It will also determine who will have the advantage in the next presidential election.  Four years is a short period of time, and a lot can happen.
