Time For Trump to Move On
November 20, 2025- Thursday
Today is the funeral of former Vice President Dick Cheney. He was 85 years old. Cheney is still known to have been the most powerful Vice-President in the history of the United States. All former Vice-Presidents are at the funeral, but the present Vice-President and President were not invited. President Trump and Vice-President J.D. Vance accused Cheney’s daughter, Liz Cheney, of trying to show Trump had worked to overthrow the U.S. government in the protests that happened on January 6, 2020. President Trump sent his “Make America Great Again” foot soldiers to Wyoming and worked to get Liz Cheney removed from office. They succeeded.
It is interesting to see the harsh divide in the politics we have today. There is one common factor in all the contention today and that is Donald Trump. He is the person who is now guilty of what he accused Democrats. He is legally going after many Democrats who went after him. Nancy Pelosi had Trump impeached twice. Why? He called her names. That in a nutshell is why Trump has created so much division. He is blunt. He is rude. He also expects to be treated differently than he treats others. Trump has created Trump Derangement Syndrome.
I would never in 100 years have voted for Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, or Kamala Harris, all who ran against Trump for President. They all have too many socialist beliefs, and they all believe in abortion. I have also never been as tired of a President like I am Donald Trump. He is the Energizer Bunny. That is not necessarily good. He demands to be the center of attention, and it is his way or the highway. Yes, there is much damage to repair after the Biden/ Harris debacle but the bull in a China shop approach is very divisive and not necessary. There are no efforts being made to temper all the political animosity we have.
I want to see some real statesmen. I want to see some diplomacy. I want to see some levels of compromise, and I want to see all the legislator exercise some fiscal responsibility while caring for the people of the United States. I want to see the name calling and outrageous comments end. I’m also ready to replace Donald Trump.
