Trump vs. Maduro vs. Drugs

October 27, 2025- Monday

President Trump is working to intimidate Venezuelan illegitimate president, Nicolas Maduro. Maduro continues to have a strangle hold on Venezuela. Venezuela has become a haven for drug cartels and Venezuela has become a port for shipping drugs around the world.

We are being told boats are leaving Venezuela loaded with drugs headed for America. President Trump has authorized the United States military to blow a couple of these boats out of the water and is receiving criticism since the public has not been given totally verifiable information about what was actually on those boats. It would be a fairly safe assumption there were drugs on these boats. The bombing of the boats is really more of a message to Maduro to cease and desist the government’s part in the drug trade. Trump has also insinuated American troops could possibly start missions in Venezuela. That would more than likely require Congress’ involvement.

President Trump means business when it comes to stopping illegal drugs from entering the United States. He needs to be as aggressive in working on the demand for illegal drugs in the United States. That is a much harder problem to address and not nearly as flashy and Trump is all about flashy.

There needs to be an all-out blitz on the many tentacles causes of drug use and know government dollars are going to be required. Take all the billions spent on diversity, equity and inclusion programs and the millions wasted in the Department of the Education and start working directly with people who are buying illicit drugs.

This is important to save American lives.
